ISLAMABAD: Former Sindh Minister Zulfiqar Mirza once again criticized Federal Interiror Minister Rehman Malik saying that latter called him his brother, adding that he gave a damn to such liar and brother.
Answering questions of Hamid Mir, Muhammad Malik, Ansar Abbasi and Shaheen Sehbai in Geo News programme capital talk, Mirza said that lie won and truth lose after his resignation.
He alleged that Rehman Malik flee from the site during the assassination of former premiere Benazir Bhutto instead of providing security to the slain PPP leader.
He said that Malik was a burden for PPP and a liar. He leveled allegation that the killings of innocent civilians in Karachi was due to Rehman Malik. Mirza said that I had also told these things to the party’s leadership.
He said that the appointment of Rehman Malik as a federal interior minister was the mistake of party’s co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari.
Former senior minister also alleged that MQM started violence in the metropolis and rest of the political parties retaliated to the offence. He said that criminals from ANP, Sunni Tehreek, and Lashkar e Jhangvi were also arrested during his tenure.
Mirza said that Babar Awan was behind the withdrawal of Commisonerate System.
